Scope

We only process personal data of our users insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website, our content, and our services. As a rule, personal data is only processed after the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

Legal basis

Insofar as we obtain consent for processing operations, Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis. For processing that is necessary for the performance of a contract, Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR applies. Where processing is necessary to fulfil a legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR applies.

Data erasure and storage duration

The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Storage beyond this may take place if provided for by European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws, or other provisions to which the controller is subject.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. GitHub may process technical access data (IP addresses, timestamps, requested files) as part of serving the site. This processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable web hosting).

4. Contact form

On this website, we offer a contact form for sending enquiries to us. When you use this form, the following data is collected and transmitted to us:

• Email address
• Message content

The form submission is processed through Web3Forms, a service operated by Web3Forms (Backend Services Pvt. Ltd.), which forwards submissions to our email address. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted to Web3Forms servers, processed, and then delivered to us as an email. Web3Forms may temporarily log the submission for spam prevention purposes. We do not store the data separately beyond our email inbox.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (your consent by voluntarily submitting the form) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

The data will be stored as long as it is necessary to answer your enquiry or fulfil the requested service. In the absence of statutory retention obligations, data is deleted after the business relationship ends.

5. External services and resources

Google Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts, a font service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you load this site, the fonts are loaded from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com), which requires transmission of your IP address to Google. This processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a consistent, performant visual presentation of our website).

Note for implementation: to reduce data transfer to Google, Google Fonts can be self-hosted. This is a recommended follow-up improvement.

Tailwind CSS CDN

This website loads Tailwind CSS from the Tailwind Labs CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com). Loading the stylesheet requires transmission of your IP address to the CDN provider. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient delivery of the site).

Material Symbols (Google)

Icons on this website are loaded from the Google Material Symbols font service (fonts.gstatic.com). The same notes as for Google Fonts apply.

This website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. Only technical cookies set by external services (e.g. font CDNs) may be used; we do not set any cookies of our own.
